Tips to keep your sunglasses scratch-free

Ø  Microfiber Bag

We sometimes tend to drop our sunglasses in our bags and get disappointed when we discover  a scratch. To avoid this, just ensure to carry the case that comes with the sunglasses, when not in use. Microfiber bag is that special container that your optician provides you with, to keep your sunglasses from getting broken, scratched or warped.

Ø  Cleaning

Use only a clean, soft cloth or, preferably the clean up cloth that comes with the container when you buy your pair of sun glasses. The fine dust particles that settle on your glasses, cause major damage and result in scratches. So, you must cleanup your glasses regularly to keep them scratch free. Some stubborn marks or dust particles can be removed by using a lens-cleaning solution or warm water and wiping the surface of the glasses gently.

Ø  Touching the lens often

Avoid touching or cleaning the lenses with your naked hands. This would often cause scratches on your glasses. Hold the arms of your sun glasses while wearing or cleaning.

Ø  Storing/positioning

Do not leave your sunglasses in the open air for a long time when not in use. Use the case and place the sunglasses carefully.  The special container is designed with certain dimensions and you need to place your glasses in the right position. Do not change the position or place your glasses upside down which cause scratches and sometimes even causes cracks due to friction

Ø  Scratch resistant Sunglasses

If you are a frequent user of sunglasses or your work life demands you to wear them often, sometimes if you might miss any of the tips mentioned above, you would be disappointed to see scratches on your sun glasses.
